During the New Learning Centre Building Project on-site construction period (Mar 2024 - Nov 2025)

The on-site construction work for BESDS’ new learning centre building project starts on Wednesday, 13th March 2024. During the construction period, the western end of the school carpark will be used by the builders and will not be available to the school community. The changes to the traffic and parking management on the school grounds needed to support this important project are explained in the Traffic and Parking Management Plan.

This plan will come into effect on Wednesday, 6th March 2024, to allow a 1-week trial period to test and review the management strategies. There will be a BESDS staff member (with a Hi-Vis and traffic control sign) supervising the traffic and parking during the drop-off (8.50 – 9.30 am) and pick-up (2.30 – 3.10 pm) periods. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and patience in advance.

There will be some teething issues and frustration as we work through this plan with all members of the school community as well as construction workers and neighbours. Please don’t hesitate to contact the school for feedback or questions regarding the plan and building work.
